The people of Sasaro clan are believed to be descendant of King Eweka the first of Benin Kingdom. The legend has it that three Brothers, Odion, Ohoota and Anama born of the same parent (Eweka the first of Benin) migrated from Benin Kingdom around 12A.D. These
Ozalla is one of the four clans in Owan west local government in Edo State. Ozalla as a clan is unique to Owan because it is the first settlement on the western border of Owan. The implication of this is that migrants from Benin had to pass through Ozalla before they settled, anywhere in Owan. The clan is made up of Eight Villages headed by a traditional ruler whose title is “Onotare of Ozalla”. The villages which make up the clan are:

Ekperi is one of the thirteen clans that make up Etsakoland.in Edo State of Nigeria. Ekperi occupy settlements dispersed over 400 square miles west of the River Niger in the southeastern corner of Etsakoland.They are located in Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State.

The people of Avianwu clan are believed to have migrated from Benin City many years ago during the 15th century. They are believed to have migrated under the leadership of the founding father, Awun. It is believed that they first settle at Jattu in Uzairhue Clan of Etsako West Local Government Area where they later migrated eastward and settle in the present day Fugar.
Etsako people are to be found in the northern part of Edo state. They are one of the ethnic groups that makes up Afemai. Aviele is one of the thirteen clans in Etsako land. Aviele is part of Etsako West Local Government Area with a zip code of 312104. The clan is located at Longitude 6.30595 and Latitude 698763, and the people of Aviele clan are believed to have migrated from Benin City many years ago in the 15th century under the leadership of the OKPEA.
They settled in a place between Ugoili and Auchi from where a part of them further spread southward to Agbede, the present capital town and administrative seat of the clan.
