AAA honors Barr. Hassan Kadiri

AUCHI – A socio-cultural and economic but non political organization, the Auchi Allied Association, AAA weekend brought friends, well wishers and distinguished individuals together from across the country for a grand reception in honour of Barr. Hassan Kadiri who assumed office as Executive Chairman, Etsako West Local Government council in April this year.

The occasion amplified calls on the honoree to prove himself to the people that he was the long awaited messiah by out-pacing his counter parts in developmental strides.

Chairman of the occasion and award recipient, Barr. Ozoboile Alasan recalled that Auchi since 1921 when it became headquarters of Kukuruku division never had an indigene as executive council chairman until the emergence of Barr. Kadiri which he remarked made the celebration well situated.

While enjoining the people to accord the council chairman necessary support and cooperation by discharging their civic responsibilities as well as obeying all bye laws and regulations to make a difference, Barr. Alasan expressed the associations appreciation to the Otaru of Auchi kingdom, HRH Alhaji A.H Momoh, Ikelebe111 in whose reign he said, the uncommon transformation was taking place.

Also speaking, national president, AAA, Alhaji Abdul Wahab Saliu urged all council chairmen in Edo north to key into the project of the associations mutual health scheme, a community based insurance service designed to provide easy access and affordable health care to Auchi people and Afemai in general as it would give credibility to their administration.

In a remark, the honoree and Chairman, Etsako west local government, Barr. Hassan Kadiri who also received a distinguished leadership award said he decided to participate in the mainstream politics in order to realize his dream of positively affecting people’s lives.

While describing the comrade governor as a solution to the numerous problems of Edo state having not only shown compassion but demonstrated himself as a change agent, Barr. Kadiri assured his people that he had no choice than to replicate his transformation agenda and thanked them for their support in his election.

Also honored with distinguished award at the occasion was Prof. Zakariyau Oseni, a professor of Arabic at the University of Ilorin.
